Ultima Thule Ambient Music
Ultima Thule is a weekly ambient music programme that has been broadcast on Australian public radio since 1989. It presents a carefully crafted mix of ambient, drone, chillout, and spacemusic, along with ancient, mediaeval, and neoclassical compositions. The show also incorporates traditional and world music, soundtracks, cool jazz, and impressionist soundscapes. Each episode is a seamless, chatter-free 90-minute musical journey.
