Cairns FM 89.1 is the leading community radio broadcast station in Far North Queensland, broadcasting since February 1985. It offers a diverse range of music genres, local breakfast programs, news bulletins, and multicultural programming including Indigenous, Thai, Chinese Cantonese and other community shows. The station is run by volunteers and operates 24/7 from its studios at Cairns TAFE in Manunda.
