About the Radio Station

Gold MX is Albany's only true local radio station, broadcasting on 1611 AM since 1997. It plays classic hits and focuses on supporting local musicians and the local live music scene. The station is independently owned and operated by Barricades Media, covering a 50 km radius of the Albany area.
